Website Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the 6-Minute Wellness website and digital content we make available through it. By using the website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Dara A. Tayrien, trading as 6-Minute Wellness, ABN 38 703 631 028 (“6-Minute Wellness”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Contact: hello@6minutewellness.com.
2. Website information
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but general website content may not be complete or suitable for every person, workplace or situation. Service descriptions, availability and prices may change. A specific proposal, booking confirmation or written service agreement will set out what is included in a corporate engagement.
3. Wellbeing information—not medical advice
6-Minute Wellness provides general workplace wellbeing education and practical movement, breathing, mindfulness and recovery strategies. Website and digital content is not medical, psychological, physiotherapy or other clinical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or health condition.
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you. Work within a comfortable range, use a stable environment and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness or other concerning symptoms. Seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional if you have an injury, medical condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether an activity is suitable.
Our content is not a crisis service. In an emergency, call 000. If you need mental-health crisis support in Australia, contact an appropriate emergency or crisis service.
4. Workplace services
Workshops, programs, keynotes, events, consulting support and bespoke resources are supplied under the proposal, scope, quote, booking confirmation or agreement accepted by the client. That document will govern deliverables, fees, timing, participant arrangements, changes, cancellation and other engagement-specific matters. If it conflicts with these website Terms, the engagement-specific document applies to that engagement.
Clients are responsible for providing an appropriate venue or online environment, communicating relevant participation information, and meeting their own workplace health and safety obligations.
5. Bookings and enquiries
Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed engagement. A calendar booking confirms only the scheduled conversation shown in the booking confirmation, not a workshop, program or other paid service.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and booking information and for updating or cancelling a meeting promptly if you can no longer attend. We may reschedule or cancel a conversation where reasonably necessary.
6. Digital resources and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website, videos, audio, text, graphics, workshop materials, frameworks, handouts and branding are owned by or licensed to 6-Minute Wellness and protected by intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use content for your personal use or the internal workplace use authorised by your purchase or organisational agreement. You must not reproduce, sell, sublicense, publish, distribute, modify, record or commercially exploit content without written permission, except where permitted by law.
7. Fees and payments
Fees for corporate services are stated in the applicable proposal or agreement. Prices for any digital resources offered for purchase will be displayed before purchase. All prices are in Australian dollars. No GST is payable unless expressly stated otherwise.
Corporate clients will ordinarily pay by electronic funds transfer to the bank account stated on the invoice. We may also offer payment through Stripe by arrangement. Unless an accepted proposal expressly states otherwise, the quoted fee is the total fee payable and payment-processing costs will not be added as a separate card surcharge.
Stripe payments are processed under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. 6-Minute Wellness does not directly store complete payment-card details processed by Stripe.
8. Future Library access
The 6-Minute Wellness Library is not included in the website services available at launch. Before personal accounts, organisational licences, paid subscriptions or recurring payments are introduced, we will publish or provide the applicable access, payment, renewal and cancellation terms.
9. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Unless different terms are stated in an accepted proposal or booking confirmation, the following terms apply when a client cancels or reschedules a workshop, program session, keynote or other booked engagement:
- with at least seven calendar days’ notice, the client may cancel without a cancellation fee or reschedule once to a mutually suitable date;
- with less than seven calendar days but at least 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the agreed fee is payable; or
- with less than 48 hours’ notice, or for non-attendance, 100% of the agreed fee is payable.
In all cases, the client is responsible for non-refundable travel, venue, materials or other third-party costs reasonably committed for the engagement. We may waive or reduce a fee in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. A later rescheduling or cancellation after one fee-free change may be treated as a cancellation.
If 6-Minute Wellness must cancel an engagement, we will offer a mutually suitable replacement date or refund fees paid for the cancelled engagement. We are not responsible for a client’s indirect costs arising from the cancellation, except to the extent required by law.
Refunds and remedies for digital products and services are provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and any additional written commitments we make. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Results and testimonials
Testimonials and survey results describe the experiences of particular participants. Individual and organisational outcomes vary according to circumstances, participation and implementation. We do not guarantee a particular health, wellbeing, performance or business result.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website or its digital resources unlawfully or to harm another person;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to an account, system or restricted content;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with security or unreasonably disrupt the website;
- misrepresent your identity or authority; or
- use our content or branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or permission we have not given.
12. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or use third-party services such as Google Calendar, Google Meet, Stripe, email platforms and research websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content or practices. Your use of them may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue website features or content. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, but we will take reasonable steps to maintain services that we have agreed to provide.
14. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content, use contrary to instructions, unauthorised use of an account, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Where a guarantee, condition or remedy cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law, these Terms do not exclude it. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. By providing information through the website, you acknowledge that it will be handled as described in that policy and any collection notice shown with the relevant form.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the courts of Queensland and courts entitled to hear appeals from them, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our services, website or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with its last-updated date. Changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted corporate agreement unless that agreement permits it.
